McLellan is a big advocate of storytelling as a way of passing on knowledge. He frequently puts traditional First Nations oral stories into print to teach lessons. Nanabosho is an Ojibwe teacher and trickster. This series tells of Nanbosho in an array of situations that are meant to educate about life and our relationship with the things around us.
Nanabosho is approached by 4 people who want him to grant a wish. He is happy to do so and everything goes great...until one of the wishers becomes greedy and doesn't honor the gift. He learns that he should havwe been grateful the hard way.
